Average year

This year was exceptionally average. Three major events were scheduled but were very much impeded by the bad weather striking the first half of the season. Several paragliders did not make it to the lz, as usual. A few ended in the trees and some even in the sloughs. Two had to be rescued by SAR. There was two or three great weeks of solid sunny weather end of august beginning of september. Distances were not done much then but super for local flights and scratching practice. Two of us worked at cutting some of the bushes on the north launch last weekend, a badly needed maintenance work. Btw, remember that the Willi photo contest is still to come.

At least a metre of snow, quite hard still, since it doesn't melt fast in altitude. The 9 km takeoff is clear though, if you're willing to walk.
